If you do come across any issues using this method, please do not hesitate to contact us. Please make sure you are using the latest FCP X 10.5.1, it is possible to run earlier versions of FCP X under Rosetta2 emulation on Apple M1 systems but we have not tested that and problems may occur.

Very roughly the speed on an M1 mac mini running Final Cut Pro X and our plugins in Rosetta2 emulation is comparable or even faster than a 2020 model Macbook Pro with 6 core Intel i7, Apple's M1 is a really fast chip ! Note you must launch FCP X everytime using this applet instead of double clicking on the FCP X icon whenever you want to use our plugins.
As mentioned this is a temporary solution but the performance is quite good. Our plugins will appear and be usable as normal after doing this. (note this will only launch FCP X in Rosetta mode when using this applet, the default will still be native)
